About me:
At the tender age of 5 years old, the Lord showed my dad that I would be used for His service.  That night is one I will never forget. My father woke me up in the middle of the night and shared what God had shown him. He prayed with me that night and prays with me still. I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit at age 11 and was water baptized at 14 by my Grandfather, and General of the Faith, Leonardo Trevi?o Sepulveda. I gave my first sermon-ette in February 1993, I was 14 years old and my Pastor gave me 5 minutes. The church I grew up in was Gethsemane Apostolic Church where I received the majority of my ministerial training under the direction and mentorship of Pastor Joshua Salomon and his wife, Sister Esther Salomon (who hands down was the best Sunday School teacher I ever had). There, we had a powerful ministry called the “King’s Kids”. Being in the King’s Kids taught me to praise and pushed me to speaking God’s word publicly. (I loved the King’s Kids so much I quit football my junior year of High School – you know that had to be God). Throughout my teenage years, I developed a deeper relationship with the Lord by the reading and studying of His word. Ministry training began “old school style” with picking up trash around the church AND the neighbors yard AND up and down the street, cutting the grass, turning on the furnace in the wee hours of cold winter mornings, and whatever else Pastor Salomon could think of. I think he felt that he had a green light after hearing the stories of the summers I spent with my grandfather. Lesson learned: if you can’t serve and obey a Pastor who you can see, how can you serve and obey a God who you cannot see? On the 3rd of July 1999 I married the love of my life and almost 2 years later our first baby was born. That was the day that I felt the Lord anoint me to be a daddy… and I’ve never been the same since. We now have 3 precious babies and are considered a big family of 5; I’m loving every minute of it. I’ve offered each of my children to stay little (as in stop growing) and Daddy will take care of you for the rest of your life. Sadly not one will take my offer – like every other kid, they’re in a hurry to be grown. I come from a family with a rich heritage of faith. I married into a family that also has that same heritage of faith but it’s not because we’re so special or loved by God above all else; but because the Lord is good and merciful and has kept us for such a time as this to extend the offer from our Heavenly Father to become sons of God and be grafted in to His heritage of faith through the bloodline of Jesus Christ, who gave up his life for all of mankind.

What do you love most about FHC?: 1) I love God’s people especially the wonderful people God has sent and keeps sending to FHC. They truly lift me week after week. I love them all! 2) I love the Elders and “Deac’s” of FHC, they are Heaven sent…each with their own unique callings and gifts. 3) The FHC men – they are the best men a Pastor could ask for. They too, are God sent. 4) Many churches advertise “multiculturalism”, yet all across America, Sunday mornings remain the most segregated time of the week. But not at FHC, as much as we’d like to take credit for this, this has been by no effort of our own. But in God’s design we are Latino, Black, White, Asian – you name it – God has brought us together. We live it. Thank you Lord! 5) Best for Last! The “Pastora”, the “First Lady” my wife, mother of my children, etc. She is God’s gift to me and faithful partner in this ministry. She is my Hun!
