The term “heritage” is a way of describing and defining who you are. Your heritage is your roots, your foundation. Your heritage tells your story.   

However, the truth is that no matter what kind of past you have had or what kind of people you come from, a heritage of faith was given through the bloodshed of Jesus Christ at Calvary for once and for all of mankind. Through His bloodline we are grafted into God’s family - to become sons of God and receive our heritage of faith and eternal life.  

Although the world has become more hostile, and people more cynical or disillusioned, we have been able to maintain our sense of optimism which, at it’s fundamental core, is our Hope in Christ.   This hope comes from knowing and operating in Godly wisdom grounded by biblical principles and realizing that we have a place in God’s family.
 
For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.  So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.” For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.  And since we are his children, we are his heirs. Romans 8:14-17a.
